Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs currently has around 650 members and just celebrated its eighth anniversary. Operations manager Stacy Fagerquist has been a member since the beginning.

"The community here is what is biggest for us," Fagerquist said. "We just want people to feel loved when they come in the door and feel like they're part of the Burn family."

A 12-month membership is $149 per month. Burn Boot Camp members get unlimited workouts with "child watch" offered on-site beginning at 8:30 a.m. Focus meetings to track goals and progress are also included in a membership.

Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs is open six days a week. Personal trainers create and lead 45-minute workouts, which include three days of conditioning (cardio) and three days of strength-training. Modifications are always welcome, but trainers will also push you to work harder so you can get the most out of each workout.

Trainers can also modify any exercise for injuries or pregnancy.

Every Sunday, the weekly schedule or "protocol" is released. Burn Boot Camp's protocol contains upper-body, full-body and lower-body workouts, speed and agility training, high interval cardio and more.

Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs' mission is to provide a complete workout routine for its members, who can attend all six classes and get a full workout for the week. The cardio and strength days are spaced apart to make sure no muscle group gets overworked.

"Burn Boot Camp's protocol is designed to hit you from head to toe throughout the week, hitting all muscle groups without over-training," Fagerquist said.

"You're going to get everything you need that week by coming in and giving your 45 minutes," said Liz Lawson, a personal trainer at Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs. "We'll have everything you need and tell you what to do when you come in the door."

Gym members can do anything in a class from guided pull-ups, chest presses, agility and speed training, burpees, box jumps and more. The workouts are challenging but engaging in an effort to make the 45-minute class fly by.

"The workouts are hard, and that's awesome, and we're challenging our minds and our bodies everyday," Lawson said. "I think the best part is that when you show up here you know you have a community of people behind you and they're cheering you on every step of the way."

Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs has one of the largest child watch communities, with both working and stay-at-home parents using the free service.

According to Fagerquist, between 75 and 100 kids attend the program each day while their parents work out. There are at least two employees with children at all times -- and many of the women who staff the childwatch program are gym members themselves.

"They're really what make the gym, because if we couldn't offer that, we wouldn't have as many members as we have," Fagerquist said.

Burn Boot Camp Holly Springs is a great choice for people who enjoy guided workouts and are motivated by others. Trials are available for people who want to try it.

"We feel so strongly about being a place where everyone is celebrated and encouraged to love their bodies right where they are," Lawson said. "We want people to enjoy moving their bodies and feel encouraged and empowered by what they can do."
