The Chatham County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday asked for help from the public to identify a body found in Jordan Lake.
Deputies pulled the body from the lake near Farrington Point Boat Ramp on Tuesday afternoon, and roads nearby remained closed to vehicle traffic through 5 p.m.

A boater spotted the body and reported it, deputies said.
The sheriff asked that anyone who had seen suspicious activity in that area call 919-542-2911.
