Autopsy: Goldsboro motel worker shot in forehead

A woman killed at a Goldsboro motel in December was shot once in the forehead, according to an autopsy report released Tuesday.

Goldsboro police are investigating after employees of America's Best Value Inn, 701 U.S. Highway 70 Bypass, were found dead in their room on Monday, Dec. 14, 2009.

 A woman killed at a Goldsboro motel in December was shot once in the forehead, according to an autopsy report released Tuesday.

The bodies of Bhavanaben Patel, 61, and her husband, Suryakant Patel, 65, were found in a room of America's Best Value Inn, 701 U.S. Highway 70 Bypass, on Dec. 14. The couple worked at the motel and lived in the room, authorities said.

An earlier autopsy determined that Suryakant Patel had been shot several times.

Police and agents with the State Bureau of Investigation are investigating both deaths.
