Authorities investigate fatal shooting in Durham

Authorities in Durham were investigating Sunday morning after a passing motorist found a man's body inside a car in the 1900 block of Lakewood Avenue.

Ricardo DeJesus Uribe Padilla, 25, died of a gunshot wound, police said.

They did not have any suspects or motive for Padilla's death, but a spokesman said Monday they were treating it as a homicide.
