14-year-old girl shot at Durham home, police say
A 14-year-old girl was shot in Durham early Tuesday morning at her residence, police said.
Two people, including a 14-year-old girl, were shot at their Durham home early Tuesday morning, police said.
At 12:02 a.m., residents of a home in the 700 block of Massey Avenue heard a knock at their door, according to Durham police. Shortly after, someone shot through the door, hitting the teen and a 37-year-old woman.
The girl was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the woman suffered a graze wound to her leg.
Police said the incident does not appear to be random.
