Stormwater storytime planned at downtown Raleigh bookshop

Posted June 11

The children's book store at 111 E. Hargett St. opens April 7.

A pop-up cat cafe is today (Sunday), from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Read With Me, the new children's bookstore in downtown Raleigh.

The shop actually will have another special storytime at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, with staff from the city of Raleigh's Stormwater Management Division. They'll read the book "All the Way to the Ocean," by Joel Harper, which explains how litter impacts the environment when it reaches local waterways and, finally, the ocean.

The storytime is free, but, after the story, there's a related art activity. The cost for the art activity is $5 for materials. The store is at 111 E. Hargett St., Raleigh.
