Stolen Wayne County coin collection recovered
About $63,000 in collector coins that had been stolen from a Wayne County home Monday were recovered late Tuesday, authorities said.

At about 6 p.m. Monday, a person living on Stevens Mill Road outside of Goldsboro reported the theft of several sets of collector coins.
The coins were recovered Tuesday, but authorities didn't provide details of how they were found or whether anyone would be charged in the case.
The owner was itemizing the coins recovered to ensure nothing was missing, authorities said.
The case remains under investigation.
