Posted October 22, 2013

The new Stay & Play Snack Cafe in downtown Durham offers an array of toys for kids to play with, along with comfortable seating for parents. A small admission fee is charged for kids. Coffee, drinks and snacks available. It opens Jan. 19.

The Stay & Play Snack Cafe in downtown Durham will offer free admission and a free mini-facial courtesy of Rodan and Fields Skin Care on Thursday.

Free admission and the facials are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at the cafe, a great place for parents and caregivers to hang with their babies to preschoolers. You'll find coffee and snacks, along with lots of toys to keep kids busy.

Also ... mark your calendars for a little kid-friendly Halloween party on Oct. 31 at the cafe with mini pumpkin or candy tote bag decorating while supplies last, Halloween storytime, a photo booth and more. Late in the afternoon on Halloween, the cafe will pass out a map showing businesses on the block that will receive trick or treaters.

For details, check the cafe's website and Facebook page.

And I will note here that the Stay & Play Snack Cafe is among the generous businesses offering prizes in our Cutest Baby Contest!
