Stamp Out Hunger postal service food drive Saturday!

The Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive sponsored by the National Association of Letter Carriers is this Saturday, 5/11. This is such an easy way to donate some of your overstock to some folks who could really use the help! I challenge you to donate even a small bag of groceries.

All you need to do is leave a bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox or you can deliver it to your local post office on Saturday, May 11. This is a nationwide food drive, so everyone can participate! Pass this on to all your friends in every state!

Items that are good to donate include canned meats, fish, soup, bottled juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice that do not require refrigeration.

They request on the website that you do not include any items in glass bottles or any expired products.

If everyone who reads this blog donates just one bag for this food drive, we could help them collect a ton of food!
