We reported here on ABC12 News that the Michigan state police dog had been stabbed chasing drive-by shooting suspects in Macomb County two days ago.

Bolt has now been released from the MSU Veterinarian Hospital.

We'll told he will recover at home and should return to the force in a couple of weeks.
