Spring Lake sailor killed on leave

Spring Lake, N.C. — A sailor from Spring Lake died Saturday while on leave in Fayetteville, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Lt. Leonard Robinson, 29, died of non-combat-related injuries, officials said. No other details were released.

Robinson was assigned to the Naval Hospital Sigonella, Italy, detachment at the Naval Branch Health Clinic in Bahrain.
