Cumberland County detectives arrested a Spring Lake man Monday on charges that he engaged in sex acts with a minor.

<b>SPRING LAKE, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County detectives arrested a Spring Lake man Monday on charges that he engaged in sex acts with a minor.

Jose Luis Dominquez, 30, of 611 Odell Road, was charged with second-degree forcible sexual offense, sexual activity by a substitute parent and taking indecent liberties with a child. He was being held Tuesday in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.

Investigators said the alleged encounters involved a 13-year-old and occurred during a 10-day period in April 2006.
