Spring Lake man accused of indecent liberties with child
Cumberland County sheriff’s detectives have charged a Spring Lake man with taking indecent liberties with a child.

Ronnie Lee Tanner, 55, of 627 Goodyear Drive, turned himself in to authorities Tuesday night after learning about warrants for his arrest, according to authorities.
Investigators say Tanner allegedly forced an 8-year-old girl to sit on his lap and wouldn’t let her get up. When the girl threatened to tell her grandmother about the incident, Tanner reportedly threatened her, authorities said.
Tanner was being held in the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond. He was expected to make a first court appearance Wednesday.
