Bulls washed out at Charlotte, DH Wednesday

Durham Bulls

Durham's 11-game 10-day road trip was shortened to 11 games in nine days, as Jeff Niemann and the Bulls now will play a double header against Charlotte on Wednesday after Tuesday's rain out.

Niemann (1-1) and Chris Mason (2-5) will start for the Bulls, while Charlotte will counter with fellow righties Lance Broadway and Jack Egbert.

Coverage will begin at 5 p.m., with first pitch for the double header at 5:15 on Rejoice 1410 AM WRJD. The Bulls (20-23) are 4-3 against Charlotte (18-25). The games also can be heard on this website, www.milb.com, and www.1410wrjd.com.

Durham also has a double header against Norfolk on Monday at 12:15 p.m. The Bulls had just completed a 6-4 home stand.
