The U.S. Olympic baseball team will play four games in the Triangle before departing for Beijing for the Summer Games, the team announced Tuesday.
The American team will play at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary on Aug. 1 and then have three games in Durham Bulls Athletic Park Aug. 2-4.
The Cary game will be at 7:05 p.m. and the Durham games will be at 7:05 p.m. on Aug. 2, 5:05 p.m. on Aug. 3 and 7:05 p.m. on Aug. 4.
All four games are against the Canadian team.
Tickets will go on sale June 5 at www.usabaseball.com.
Former major league manager Davey Johnson is managing the U.S. team this summer.
