Duke Wins Tough Road Game Against Maryland, 93-84

Duke trailed at halftime for the first time all year, but DeMarcus Nelson was there to bail his team out.

Nelson finished the game with a career-high 27 points, as Duke moved to 5-0 in ACC play after a 93-84 win at Maryland.

Gerald Henderson carried the load for Duke in the first half, when he scored 16 of his 23 points.

Maryland scored 51 points in the first half while shooting 62% from the field. But Duke turned the tables in the second half, outscoring the Terps 51-33 in the second frame.

James Gist led the way for Maryland with 26 points and five rebounds, while Bambale Osby finished the contest with a double-double, tallying 20 points and 15 boards.
