North Carolina junior point guard Bobby Frasor will miss the rest of the 2007-2008 campaign after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Frasor was injured with 9:47 left in the second half of the Tar Heels' game against Nevada.

The 6-3 junior was chasing down a loose ball when his left knee gave out. Frasor dropped to the ground in pain and remained there for several minutes before leaving the court under his own power.

After the game, North Carolina sports media officials confirmed that Frasor tore the ACL.

Frasor had five points on the night on 2-3 shooting before suffering the injury. He had been averaging three points, 1.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists in just under 17 minutes per game.
