7:21 p.m.: It's 13-11 N.C. State right now, with 11:49 left in the first half, and a big reason this score is different so far from what we saw in Chapel Hill is State's ball movement.
In watching that UNC blowout last month, State's offense just seemed to stagnant in the first half as players didn't move and cut without the ball.
So far, that hasn't been the case as the Wolfpack has moved and passed much more crisply. State has funneled the ball inside at times and, while points have been hard to come by overall, the Pack has looked much sharper.
Defensively, State has freshman J.J. Hickson on Tyler Hansbrough, and Hansbrough hasn't scored since the Tar Heels' first possession. Wayne Ellington, with a great jumper and a driving basket, has been UNC's best offensive option so far. State has Courtney Fells on him.
Of course, as soon as I write that, Hansbrough catches the ball inside and spins loose for a great score. And Marcus Ginyard just dunked in transition for UNC to tie the score at 15-all.
