2007 WRAL All-Triangle Awards Announced

The high school basketball season has come to a close, and we are preparing to move into tournament mode. This week marks the start of the conference tournaments across the state, and by Friday, a conference tournament champion will be named for every conference.

Over the past week, WRAL has been collecting votes from high school basketball media members and editors from local high school newspapers for the WRAL All-Triangle Awards. The votes were casted, tabulated, and now we are ready to reveal the winners for each category. Some of the races were extremely close, and people who were within 6 votes of first place received honorable mention honors.

I would personally like to congratulate all of the players and coaches that were nominated, especially those who won an award. Are you ready to find out who won? Read on...
