WRAL.com to Cover Tri-Eight Championship Game
Next week, conferences across the state of North Carolina will hold their Conference Tournament. One of those conferences is the Tri-Eight 4A Conference, and WRAL.com's High School Hoops, along with NC Sports Report, will bring the Championship Game to your desktop, on-demand.
The Tri-Eight has been one of the most competitive conferences at the top this season. Last week, Apex defeated Cary by one-point in four overtime periods; Cary defeated Green Hope in overtime; and the week prior to that, Apex slipped by Middle Creek. That's just the beginning.
WRAL.com will have the game covered beginning with a tip-off show Thursday Night. In the show, we will take a look at both teams, their seasons, how they got to the championship, and key players. Friday, WRAL will be providing a recorded play-by-play of the entire championship game. At the conclusion of the game, we will have interviews with both coaches, as well as players from each team.
So, what should you expect during the game? How about this. I'll be calling the game court-side, we'll have analysis from other players and coaches, and interviews. From the National Anthem to the trophy presentation, count on WRAL.com to bring it all to your desktop.
WRAL.com is the only place you will find play-by-play coverage of high school basketball. Stay with WRAL.com for prep sports coverage you can count on.
