WRAL Midseason Wrap Up

The first half of the season has past us, and now we're in the home stretch towards the state playoffs. Today, I'm going to take you through an in depth look at all four of the major Triangle conferences - the Tri-Eight, the Greater Neuse, the Pac 6, and the Cap Seven.

Along the way, you will hear from Kip Kelley (Middle Creek), T.C. Anderson (Green Hope), Coach Battle Watkins (Knightdale), and Julian Gamble (Southern Durham).

The hour long show features my opinions, the players/coaches opinions, and the straight up facts. I'll answer your questions and give my opinion on your comments. We received over 300 questions and comments via email, so I obviously couldn't get to all of them, but I hope I got to yours.

We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties getting the audio up on the site. As a temporary solution, the audio show has been posted on NC Sports Report. We will get the audio posted right here as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience. The link to the show is on the right.

Tavares Speakes Jr Forward green hope, very athletic player with good skills. His coach doesnt know how to take advantage of him however. I hope he returns to Green Hope for his Sr yr. He is a D1 player and not getting the exposure he should or will at GH. GH has always played a ball control offense and has never had a player like Speakes, hopefully Head Coach can adapt but I doubt it, he wants to blame players rather than look in the mirror.

WOW NICK! That was great, good job with the broadcast. As a basketball player, I really appreciate the work you have done. I haven't seen any of the guys play that you interviewed, mainly because I'm usually playing/practicing basketball too, but I may have to try and make it over to one of the Green Hope games. It sounds like they are having some of the same problems my team is.

TC Anderson seems like a good player, and I've heard talk about a forward there - something Speaks. Keep up the good work Nick!
