<b>KNIGHTDALE, N.C.</b> — Speed was a factor in a single-vehicle accident that killed a man driving in Knightdale late Saturday.<br />

The state Highway Patrol said the man was driving south on Marks Creek Road after 11 p.m. when his vehicle crossed the center line, went off the road and partially rolled over.<br />

The victim was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.

Troopers have not released the name of the man, pending notification of his family.
