The Southern Women's Show, the annual show featuring fashion, food, fun and more (including lots of shopping), stops at the N.C. State Fairgrounds this weekend.

The three-day event runs Friday to Sunday.

As always, WRAL-TV and WRAL.com's Out & About, Smart Shopper and Go Ask Mom will have booths at the show in the fair's Expo Building. I'll be manning (or should I say momming) the Out & About/Smart Shopper/Go Ask Mom booth from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday.

If you're bringing your kids to the show on Sunday, you'll definitely want to stop by the Go Ask Mom booth.

I'll have some coupons offering a discount on the upcoming Sesame Street Live: Elmo Makes Music show at the PNC Arena from May 31 to June 2! We'll also have some Sesame Street and Go Ask Mom activity sheets, along with a special appearance by a Sesame Street character from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.!

I'll also have a contest for a $25 gift certificate to Dickey's Barbecue Pit!

But there's much more to see and do at the show too.

My friend and colleague Faye Prosser, WRAL.com's Smart Shopper, will offer a variety of cooking and meal planning classes on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Click here to learn more about her schedule. She will be selling her coupon organizer on Saturday.

As always, the show will feature some regular favorites, including the firefighter fashion show at 6 p.m., Friday. You can meet Sean Lowe from The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars at 1 p.m., Friday, and Jessica Robertson from Duck Dynasty at 1:15 p.m., Sunday. And local celebrities will be participating in Dancing Like the Stars at 4 p.m., Saturday.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., :Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday. Tickets are $10 at the door and $5 for kids ages 6 to 12. Kids under age 6 are free with a paying adult. There are some ticket deals. Again, check Faye's post for details on those.

If you're there on Sunday, please stop by to see me!
