— A Southern Pines man has been accused of child solicitation as the result of an undercover operation.

On Wednesday, a Rockingham police detective posed online as a 15-year-old girl.

Authorities said Robert Quentin Bailey II, 35, of 834 Leak St., in Southern Pines, solicited sex and agreed to provide alcohol to the person he thought was a minor.

Bailey was arrested and charged with one count of soliciting a child by computer and one count of resisting a public officer.

He was being held Thursday in the Richmond County Jail under $10,000 bond. Bailey’s court appearance was scheduled for Feb. 2.

Once again - another person who's sexual preference and/or orientation is children.

The ACLU believes that it is their right to rape and molest children too. And has fought for that "right"
