<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — South Saunders Street, near Interstate 40 in Raleigh, reopened Thursday afternoon after lanes were closed due to a gas leak.

Officials said a pipe was hit at about 1:30 p.m. and the gas flow was stopped by 3 p.m.

No additional information was immediately available.
