Some museums, parks closed Thursday, others to operate on revised schedule
Triangle area museums and parks are making changes to their schedule on Thursday because of the winter weather that's hit the region.

Triangle area museums and parks are making changes to their schedule on Thursday because of the winter weather that's hit the region.
Here are the schedules so far. Things could change, so be sure to check before you head out to any of them.
- Marbles Kids Museum and its IMAX theater in Raleigh are closed Thursday.
- The Museum of Life and Science in Durham is closed Thursday.
- The N.C. Zoo in Asheboro is closed on Thursday.
- The N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh will reopen at noon, Thursday. Its outdoor learning lab, Prairie Ridge Ecostation in west Raleigh, will be closed Thursday.
- The N.C. Museum of History in Raleigh will reopen at noon, Thursday.
- The N.C. Museum of Art in Raleigh in Raleigh will reopen at noon, Thursday.
- Raleigh parks will reopen at 10 a.m., Thursday.
- All Cary parks, recreation and cultural resources programs are canceled Thursday.
- All Durham parks facilities will open 10 a.m., Thursday.
