Some Fargo teachers shocked by the low amount in their last paycheck

FARGO, ND — Just over 800 teachers in the Fargo School District got "sticker shock" when today's paycheck was posted in their accounts.
It is not clear if a processing or software issue is the problem, but more taxes were taken out and the "take-home-pay" on the check was far less than expected.
Fargo School teacher Dave Marquardt and his wife both work for the district, and so when word spread payroll checks had problems, they checked their account.
At the Fargo School District office, payroll and HR spent the day getting reimbursement checks out to teachers.
Officials are looking at how the withholding issue came about; software update? Processing?
An issue facing 815 teachers.
More taxes out of the check and a smaller take home dollar amount.
With the problem caught relatively quickly, Fargo teachers will get the reimbursement checks by Monday.
Teachers can log into their employee portal to check on the reimbursement status.
