<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Cumberland County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 34-year-old soldier Thursday and charged him with sex crimes against an 11-year-old girl.

Investigators said Lionel Baxter Killian, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, touched the child inappropriately during the month of February.

He was being held under $40,000 bond at the Cumberland County jail on charges of statutory sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a minor.
