Sneak peek at Wake Forest Publix opening Wednesday

The new Publix grocery store in Wake Forest will have their Grand Opening on Wednesday, September 7. Here is a look at the store and some of the opening day activities!

The new Publix grocery store in Wake Forest will have their Grand Opening on Wednesday, September 7 at 7 am.

According to Kim Reynolds, Publix Media and Community Relations Manager, the "Publix supermarket located at 1030 Forestville Road in Wake Forest will welcome customers and continue passing on the Publix spirit at its grand opening scheduled for Wed., Sept. 7, 2016, 7 a.m."

During the Grand Opening, they will be sampling all day and giving away a specially designed reusable bag for customers available at check-out while supplies last.

In addition, a number of homes near the new store will receive a coupon in the mail for $5 off a $30 purchase.

Upcoming Publix Locations

Publix opened their first Triangle location in October 2014 at 1020 Bradford Plaza Way, Cary, NC 27519 at the corner of High House Road and Davis Drive. There is also a Publix open at 3480 Kildaire Farm Rd. in Cary.

Publix expects to open a number of additional stores in the area in 2016 and 2017 including:

Cary location at the corner of Green Level Church Rd & Carpenter Fire Station Rd. (no opening date specified on their website)

Apex location at Olive Chapel Road and Kelly Road, Apex, NC, 27502 in 2017

Fayetteville location at NWC Raeford Rd & Fairfield Rd (no date specified)

Greenville location at NEC Greenville Blvd & Arlington Blvd in 2017

Publix will accept up to 8 of the same coupon per day, per household. North Carolina Publix locations do not double coupons. They do not issue rewards cards.
