A two-story house about 800 feet down a gravel road off the 4600 block of Kildaire Farm Road had flames coming through the roof. Smoke is reportedly visible for miles, as flames engulf the home.

A WRAL News viewer sent in drone footage of the flames, describing the scene as having "black plumes of smoke."

The fire was heavy when firefighters arrived. Crews from Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Apex and Fairview responded, as well was Wake EMS.

The fire has been put out, but crews are still working on a few hot spots. No injuries are reported at this time, and no one is known to have been inside the house; however, firefighters have not yet been able to search the entire home.

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
