Sky Zone Durham, a trampoline park, will open to the public on Saturday at The Shops at Northgate.

This will be the fifth trampoline park to open in the Triangle in the last couple of years. Defy Gravity operates parks in Raleigh and Durham. A Sky Zone location already is in Raleigh. And The Launching Pad opened in Raleigh in November.

Sky Zone is part of an international chain of trampoline parks, which was founded in 2004 and claims to be the world's first indoor trampoline park.

The location features open jump, ultimate dodgeball, workout classes, a foam zone, packages for birthday parties and corporate events, a snack bar and more. It will be open 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday; and noon to 6 p.m., Sunday. It's closed Mondays.

Find Sky Zone Durham at 1720 Guess Rd., Suite 90, in Durham.
