Fayetteville, N.C. — Police on Wednesday released a composite sketch of a man wanted in connection with the stabbing and robbery of a Fort Bragg soldier last week.
Randall Liska, 25, was stabbed twice in the back and once each in the neck and leg early June 12 at the Tamarack on the Lake apartment complex off Rosehill Road, police said.
Liska had befriended two men at the Secrets nightclub on Bragg Boulevard the previous night, and the three planned to meet later at an apartment, police said. During the subsequent meeting, Liska was stabbed and his wallet and car keys were stolen.
The suspect depicted in the sketch was described as a black man with thin dreadlocks who was at the Secrets nightclub and in the area of America's Best Value Inn, 333 Person St., late on June 11 and early on June 12, police said.
Anyone who can identify the suspect or has information about the case is asked to call Detective Chuck Dew of the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1856 or 910-433-1879 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
