Six lottery games coming to an end

— The North Carolina Education Lottery will cease sales of six instant, scratch-off games effective on Friday. The games being canceled are: Diamond White 7's, Fabulous 5's, Cash Corner Bingo, Mega Bucks, Red Line Crossword and Pot of Gold.

Winnings must be claimed on or before Aug. 27. Winning tickets for up to $99,999 may be claimed at one of the six regional claim centers.

Winnings of more than $100,000 must be claimed at NCEL headquarters.

Claims made by mail must arrive at the NCEL headquarters no later than 5 p.m. Aug. 27.
