Six arrested in prostitution sting in Raleigh
Five women and one man were arrested on Tuesday during a prostitution sting operation in Raleigh, police said.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — Five women and one man were arrested on Tuesday during a prostitution sting operation in Raleigh, police said.
Janie Nicole Bynum, 31, no address available, Nakisa Opal Jackson, 36, of 1109 S. Bloodworth St., Ebony Renee Wright, 27, of 7803 Nebraska Drive, Helen Marie Barefoot, 44, of 1601 Poole Road, all of Raleigh; and Akila C. Graham, 37, of 404 W. Granville St. in Dunn, were all charged with prostitution, according to arrest warrants.
Bynum and Wright were also charged with one count each of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Marcus Terrell Jacobs, 24, of 1237 Raleigh Blvd. in Raleigh, was charged with aiding and abetting prostitution.
