RAEFORD, N.C. — Investigators in Hoke County are looking into a fire that broke out Friday at the same location of an alleged rape.

Authorities said the abandoned house was the place where an Embarq employee claims she was raped last week while she was going work.

Grady Cunningham is charged in the rape case. He is behind bars on $50,000 bond.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Investigators do not know if the two cases are related.
