Single day tickets, schedules released for American Roots fest

RALEIGH, N.C. — Single day tickets go on sale Friday for the American Roots Music and Arts Festival planned Oct. 17-18 at Walnut Creek Amphitheater.

North Carolina born country artist Eric Church will headline both days of the festival.

The Saturday, Oct. 17, line-up includes Modest Mouse, The Roots, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Leftover Salmon, Chris Stapleton and Railroad Earth.

Sheryl Crow, Willie Nelson, Warren Haynes, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue, Grace Potter and Greensky Bluegrass will perform Sunday, Oct. 18.

Additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The event will also include the Taste of Raleigh Food and Brews, which will include local food, beer and craft vendors.

Single day tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation's website, the Live Nation app, the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone 800-745-3000.

Single day tickets start at $39.50 and go up to more than $130. Two day tickets are on sale now and start at $79 for unreserved lawn seats. Reserved two day tickets are more than $150 each after taxes and fees.
