Singer-songwriter Rissi Palmer sings 'Dear to Me' from new album

I've written about singer-songwriter Rissi Palmer more than once in the last couple of months. She's the talented local mom who, a few years ago, hit the country charts and opened concerts for Taylor Swift.

Today, she's a mom of one in Raleigh, a music teacher and, now, is gearing up to release her first family album, Best Day Ever, in January. Read all about Palmer and her new acoustic pop family CD, which I highly recommend, in this earlier post. She was part of our Made by Mom Gift Guide.

I took my kids to her CD listening party a couple of weeks ago at Our PlayHouse Preschool and Kindergarten in Durham. I thought I'd share one of the songs she sang at the event. It's a sweet song called "Dear to Me." And it just happens to be her daughter Grace dancing around her with the maracas and giving her a hug.
