WILSON, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday for a missing Wilson man.

Richard “Ricky” Dana Howell, 53, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Howell is described as 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds. Authorities said Howell has short brown hair that is balding on top and green eyes.

Howell was last seen at the Wilson House assisted living facility at 1800 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a brown Dickies coat, blue jeans, a red, white and blue cap turned backward, and white tennis shoes.
