Silver Alert issued for Wake Forest man

Benjamin Blake Lumpkin, 25, suffers from bi-polar disorder and severe depression, officials said. He is off his medications and is known to abuse cocaine and alcohol. He is also in possession of a stolen firearm.

WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A Silver Alert was issued Thursday for a missing Wake Forest man.

Benjamin Blake Lumpkin, 25, suffers from bi-polar disorder and severe depression, officials said. He is off his medications and is known to abuse cocaine and alcohol. He is also in possession of a stolen firearm, authorities said.

Lumpkin is described as white, 6-foot-8 and about 350 pounds. He has medium-length black hair and brown eyes.

He was driving a white 1997 Toyota Four-runner with N.C. tags YXF1268.

Lumpkin was last seen at his residence on Rocky Ridge Drive.
