Isaacs left Aging Family Services, 1120 Hardimont Road, on foot, authorities said.

Susan Isaacs is not 6'1. The photograph is accurate. In some ways, she is very clear-headed. I spoke with her about 3 months ago and she was troubled about some things I believe to be accurate. I've known Susan for 40 years.

This is another example of the frightening state of mental health care in NC. If Dorothea Dix had not been moved to a location inaccessible to those who need it most, Ms. Isaacs may have been in a safer place. Wake County has the largest population of folks needing mental health care - why is the largest provider and safe-haven an hour away??? I pray for Ms. Isaacs and her family that she is safe and makes her way back to help.

6'1" and 240? I bet they didn't even try to stop her when she wanted to leave.
