RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Wednesday for a 19-year-old woman last seen on Winfield Court in Raleigh.

Jocelyn Natalya Enevoldsen is white, stands 4 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has short blond hair and brown eyes.

Neither a photo of Enevoldsen or a description of what she was wearing was immediately available.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call the Raleigh Police Department at 919-996-3335.

Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered people who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.

It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
