Silver Alert issued for missing Fayetteville woman

Vanessa Easterling Moore, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, was last seen at 2205 B Murchison Road.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Fayetteville woman.

Vanessa Easterling Moore, who suffers from manic depression, mental illness and high blood pressure, was last seen by her sister at 2205 B Murchison Road around 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 14. Authorities said Moore does not have her medications with her.

The 41-year-old African-American woman is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair with a burgundy ponytail.

Moore was last seen wearing a black sheer blouse over a black tank top, blue jean Capri pants and white sneakers. She has a scar on the left side of her face.

Anyone with information about Moore should call Officer Huff at the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-433-1830.
