Silver Alert Issued for Hickory Man

RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a man last seen at 8:10 p.m. on Monday night in Hickory.

Howard Lee Weaver Sr., 67, is a black male, 5'7" and 150 pounds with black and gray hair and brown eyes. He is missing some teeth. He was last seen wearing gold wire-frame glasses, olive green pants, a red and green plaid  shirt and a blue baseball cap.

Weaver's vehicle was found at Aaron's Rental Center at 2653 Highway N.C. 70. He is believed to suffer from cognitive impairment and may need medical assistance.
