Silver Alert issued for Henderson girl, 14

Henderson, N.C. — Henderson police were searching Wednesday for 14-year-old Samaira "Sammi" Shaneise Williams, who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Williams, who was last seen at Eaton Johnson Middle School, around 7:30 p.m.

Williams is black, with short, black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

She was last seen wearing a red pea coat, black and gray pants and gray Levi shoes.

Anyone with information on Williams' whereabouts is asked to call police at 252-432-0228.

Has there been any updates on this young lady? She goes to school with my kids, and I could not begin to imagine what her family is going through.
