Greensboro, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Greensboro man.
Raymond Jessie Sisk, 45, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Sisk is described as a white man, 5-foot-9 and 165 pounds with medium-length brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing black sweat pants and gray shoes when he went missing from Meadowood Street.
Anyone with information about Sisk's whereabouts should call the Greensboro Police Department at 336-373-2222.
Developed in 2007, Silver Alert is a system to quickly notify the public about missing endangered adults who suffer from dementia or other cognitive impairments, such as Alzheimer's disease.
It also allows caregivers and nursing homes to report a person missing. In the past, only a family member could report an adult missing.
