— The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday evening for Marilyn Louise Lesane, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Lesane, 54, was last seen at 313 E. Champion St. in Clayton. Police there think she may be headed to Greenville in the company of her son, Allen Wayne Faison.

Lesane is described as a black woman, 5 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds with graying hair and brown eyes. Her son is a 27-year-old black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 350 pounds.

The pair is believed to be traveling in a red 2001 four-door Chevrolet Cavalier with North Carolina license plate WYA7054.

Anyone with information about Lesane or Faison is asked to call Clayton police at 919-553-4611.

Please help us find Marilyn. Her Husband and Church Family miss her and we don't know why she hasn't contacted any of her friends. We are very concerned about her and want her to come back home safely.
