Silver Alert issued for Cary man

CARY, N.C. — The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert  on Monday evening for a missing Cary man.

David Anthony Johnson, 50, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Johnson is described as a white man, 5-foot-8 and 210 pounds. He has medium-length, brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a silver and gold watch, likely on his right hand.

He was last seen at a group home at 413 Normandy St. He was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans, white socks and white sneakers.

Authorities believe Johnson could be headed to Lillington.

Anyone with information about Johnson’s whereabouts should call the Cary Police Department at 919-469-4012.
