A person was pulled from Harris Lake on Friday, and a search is underway for a second boater. A spokesperson told WRAL News two men who were out fishing crashed into a cement pole in the water and were thrown from the boat.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert on Friday morning for a 73-year-old Raleigh man.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A 73-year-old Raleigh man at the center of a Silver Alert was found Friday, officials said.

Franklin Delorn Kearney was last seen near the Duke Raleigh Hospital on Wake Forest Road and was traveling north, officials said. He was wearing a red hat, light blue shirt and was holding a turquoise-colored sweater.

Officials said Kearney was found around noon.
