ROXBORO, N.C. — UPDATE: 10:30 a.m.:Roxboro police found a man who was reported missing on Friday.

A Silver Alert issued Friday for 59-year-old Homer Edward Morgan was canceled on Saturday after he was found at a local store. Police said Morgan appeared to be "in good health" but would be evaluated medically, which is standard procedure.

Officials said Homer Edward Morgan, 59, has a history of dementia, seizures and stroke.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert on Friday evening for a missing endangered man.

Officials said Homer Edward Morgan, 59, has a history of dementia, seizures and stroke.

Morgan is described as a white man with short, light-colored red hair, a gray and black beard and blue eyes. He stands 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a hunter green jacket, a yellow shirt and blue pajama pants.

Morgan was reported missing from 56 Brock's Court in Carlyle Mobile Home Park around 8 a.m. and is believed to be headed for South Boston, Virginia. Anyone with information about Morgan is asked to call Det. J.P. Howe at the Roxboro Police Department at 336-597-0545.
