Silver Alert issued for 21-year-old woman

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons on Tuesday issued a Silver Alert for a missing 21-year-old woman.

Amy Regina Crocker, who is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment, was last seen on Highway 58 South at the Nash/Wilson county line. Authorities believe she is headed to Wilson.

Crocker is 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighs 100 pounds and had brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about Crocker should call the Nash County Sheriffs Office at 252-459-4121.

    unfortunately this young lady has some major psychological issues and HAS been picked up a stranger in wilson...I only hope she is not in harm she will be returned home safely so that she can get the help that she needs!

    If she is a young woman, some man is sure to pick her up and that is where the danger is. I can only hope that she will be safe.

    that was probably before they put a missing person alert out. you don't pick up strangers

    Um, if she was last seen on the highway, why didn't someone pick her up there?
